Art, Music & physical education

ART: Art Education in Fulton County Schools integrates the study of art history, art criticism, aesthetics, and art production. As a subject in our schools, art education is based on the belief that looking at, talking about, and making art are processes essential to the well-educated student.

MUSIC: The Creek View Music Department offers a variety of musical experiences for all children at Creek View in three areas: General music, Vocal music, and Instrumental music. Students are taught a broad curriculum of music with emphasis on rhythm, melody, harmony, timbre, tempo, form, style and music history. Students also learn performance skills through singing and the use of Orff instruments.

PHYSICAL EDUCATION: Physical Education and long-term good health are a priority at Creek View. Our PE department exposes our students to a wide variety of sports activities, exercises and health maintenance practices. While sports can often be competitive by nature, we emphasize the importance of character and good sportsmanship among our students.
